Hey Welcome to The Blog!

Amos: What three things did we end up deciding upon? And can somebody email the TA what they were.

Gulam: We have to decide on One of the 3 by tommorrow and I think Chris needs to email the TA about it.

Karina: I believe the three that were discussed during discussion were: Java Calendar Tools, Freetar Hero, and I think JRisk(?). I think we possibly do more with either the Java Calendar Tools or JRisk.

Amos: We still need a lead tester to be a part of the committee making decisions. Also if any coder would like to replace me as lead, let me know, it turns out I'm more busy this semester than I thought I would be.

Gulam: I came up with 10 requirements for our section project here they are I encourage you guys to post them so we could have a concrete proof our contributions. thank you. here are mine:Java Calender Tools:

1) More Cell Space

2) Make Seperate page for each month.

3)Previous/Next Month muneverability

4)go to button that goes to the desired location provided by the user or the date provided by the user.

5)Inside the calender put a clock.

6)Drop down menu for the months.

7)Drop down menu for the dates.

8)Alarm or reminder for important dates.

9)Instead of putting time on there put just the Event and once you

click on the event it provides a brief description of the event

including the time.

10) color code it according to similar event types.

Albert: I'm adding a few more requirements to the 10 we already have.

11)Create a Quick Add option

12)Option to make an Event a recurring event

13) View Calendar by Month

Chris:

14) Add user interface in CalendarPanel for adding events through GUI panel

15) Add method for adding events in an optimal time, within user-determined constraints

(i.e., schedule doctor's appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and Nov 7 - Nov 14

while avoiding scheduling conflicts... possible options like "Schedule ASAP" or "Fit in

Busiest Day" or "Optimize Free Time Before and After"

16) Add support for other calendars besides the Gregorian (i.e., Chinese, Jewish, Muslim)

Cristian:

17) Add support for business days, holidays, etc. (especially considering event scheduling)
