1) Detect the OS being used, and select the appropriate look and feel.

1) Add more cell space

2) Make seperate page for each month.

3) Previous/next Month muneverability

4) Go to button that detects location or date provided by the user, and goes there.

5) Place a clock inside the calender.

6) Add a drop down menu for the months.

7) A a drop down menu for the dates.

8) Install an alarm or reminder for important dates.

9) Add feature that provides brief description of the event, including the time

instead of just the time appearing automatically.

10)Similar event types will be color coded.

 

Albert:

1)Create a Quick Add option for creating events

2)Option to make an Event a recurring event

3) View Calendar by Month

4) Option to change the clock to either 12Hour or 24Hour

1) Have a weekly and daily view

2) Add a reoccurence function to adding appointments/events on calendar

3) Have a search function that is able to search for an event on the calendar by a keyword given by user

keep in mind, these are just ideas...

1) Allow the ability to view current Month when minimized

2) When minimized, days in the current month with events will be in bold

3) Option to change the background color of events

4) Ability to scan through (monthly) at least 12 months foward and backward

5) Ability to view event detials when you click on a specific event, such as where, when, what and description (the features in Gulam's #9)

6) Ability to edit events after already added

7) Option to delete events

 

 

 

Chris:

14) Add user interface in CalendarPanel for adding events through GUI panel

15) Add method for adding events in an optimal time, within user-determined constraints

(i.e., schedule doctor's appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and Nov 7 - Nov 14

while avoiding scheduling conflicts... possible options like "Schedule ASAP" or "Fit in

Busiest Day" or "Optimize Free Time Before and After"

16) Add support for other calendars besides the Gregorian (i.e., Chinese, Jewish, Muslim)

 

 

Cristian:

17) Add support for business days, holidays, etc. (especially considering event scheduling)
